MARCH 23, 2020

From March 23 to April 17, there will be online tutoring for both math and writing support. (There will be no in-person tutoring for the rest of this term.)

Please write to writingcentre@humber.ca if you have any questions about our online writing support services and to mathcentre@humber.ca if you have any questions about our online math support services. Thank you and stay safe!

Please choose the appropriate schedule and book your appointments. Thank you!

Are you a North Campus student looking for Conversation Circle? It has moved from our main schedule to the North Workshops schedule and can be found via the drop-down schedule menu.

Students who cannot make it to their appointment can use the cancel function online or call us; otherwise, their appointment will count as a no-show. The system will automatically disable the account of anyone with two no-shows. Anyone with a disabled account will then need to come in to speak with us in order to re-enable the account.

Students must arrive on time for their appointment. Students who are more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment forfeited if another student is waiting for help. Forfeited appointments will need to be re-booked for a future time.

WCOnline One-Hour Limit Rule

  • Students are allowed to pre-book a maximum of one 1-hour appointment or two 30-minute appointments per week.
    • If an additional appointment spot is available after a student’s appointment, that student may be booked into that additional spot and continue working for up to one extra one hour.
  • Students who have already used their one-hour of appointments can call or come to the Centre on any day and, if there is availability that same day, that student may be booked for up to one hour of tutoring on that day.
  • In total, students may have up to 3 hours of tutoring per week.
  • In special circumstances, arrangements can be made for extra tutoring by contacting your program coordinator, advisor, and/or Math & Writing Centre Coordinator.
