If you have any questions about using WCOnline or the services we provide, join our Virtual Math and Writing Centre Front desk!

The front desk is open during our normal tutoring hours.

To use our front desk service, simply go to and someone will be there to help.

In addition to our regular appointment-based one-on-one math tutoring, we are now offering an online math drop-in service as well.

To use our online drop-in service, just join our virtual math centre, work on your math, and ask a tutor questions whenever they come up. The drop-in hours are Monday from 8:30-6pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am-7pm and Friday from 8:30am-4pm.

Simply go to during any of the times above, and a math tutor will assist you.

To book an appointment with a writing tutor, select one of the white squares at a time that works for you. Then follow the instructions below:

  • Select Online Feedback if you want someone to review your writing and send you feedback.
  • Select Online Tutoring if you would like a live interactive online tutoring session.
  • Fill out the rest of the appointment form and click on "Create appointment."
  • If you have selected an Online Tutoring session, be sure to go to the appointment box a few minutes before the start of your session and click on “Start or Join the Consultation.” 
    • At the start of the session, your tutor will greet you and begin to help you with your work. 
    • If you are unable to attend the session, please go back into the appointment slot and click on the cancel button so that another student can book it.

Students who cannot make it to their appointment can use the cancel function online or call us; otherwise, their appointment will count as a no-show. The system will automatically disable the account of anyone with two no-shows. Anyone with a disabled account will then need to contact us in order to re-enable the account.
